Jonatan Pettersson, Technical Sales Manager
Modvion was a simple choice for me, I was appealed by the opportunity to tackle the climate crisis and work directly with cutting-edge technology on innovative solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future.
In my role as Technical Sales Manager, I act as a bridge between our customer’s needs and our technology, clarifying information that helps them understand the technology and the entire process, from design to installation of our products. To do that, I need to understand the customers technical requirements and ensure that our solutions match those expectations.
Business Intelligence is another key aspect of my role. I continuously analyse and track developments among turbine manufacturers and monitor market dynamics, it is crucial to understand how the market is developing to achieve success. The combination of these two areas makes my work both challenging and exciting, I am the centre of the process that ensures that everything flows smoothly.
I was given a lot of freedom and responsibility early on, which has given me the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally in a way that I have not experienced in previous roles.
Looking ahead, I see a bright future where Modvion technology is an established industry that makes a difference – I look forward to being part of that journey.
”It is a special feeling to invent the solutions of the future together and the collaboration between the departments adds an extra spice to the work”
Rode Löfgren, Development engineer
As system owner modules and towers I’m responsible for coordinating the development of complete constructions related to the timber component. My background in wood construction, gives me an understanding of both the difficulties of wood and its possibilities, an experience that has been invaluable here at Modvion, where we constantly are developing innovative solutions with wood as a key material.
We work from scratch and there are no ready-made answers, every day means new learning and great teamwork. It is a special feeling to invent the solutions of the future together and the collaboration between the departments adds an extra spice to the work.
Having the factory in the same place as the office is also a great advantage, especially for R&D, as it allows us to quickly test and develop our ideas in practice.
I appreciate the fast pace, the learning by doing attitude and the opportunity to make an impact. Here, nothing gets stuck in long processes, we are solution-oriented and driven by a common goal. As an engineer, you can also participate in the work, both in the factory and on site, which provides a fantastic insight and variation in the work.
The future looks exciting, and I am proud to be part of the Modvion team and I am convinced that we will continue to create great progress.
Rémi Bouderlique, Construction specialist
Rémi brings experience from the industry, having worked with steel and concrete towers. He moved from Canada to join Modvion after a visit in August 2022, drawn by the companys innovative thinking and willingness to challenge traditional industry methods. He describes the move as ”a bit of craziness” but the dynamic, forward-thinking Modvion had captured his interest, presenting a unique opportunity for him to contribute with skills and knowledge in logistics, construction, quality assurance, and pre-assembly.
At Modvion, he is responsible for optimizing the installation processes on-site and ensuring that everything is executed in the safest and most efficient manner possible, while keeping high quality standards.
The best thing about working at Modvion is undoubtedly the people, Rémi says: – I’m impressed by the high level of competence among my colleagues and I feel both humble and inspired by them. I particularly appreciate the welcoming and collaborative culture within Modvion. Being part of a company that is passionate about sustainable solutions is truly rewarding.
With the motto, make it work, an interest in everything in the industry and even more interest in anything out of the ordinary, Rémi thinks that Modvion with the goal of producing 1000 wooden towers per year is an exciting challenge and opportunity. Not only for the wind power industry, but also for how we, as a society use natural resources.
”If you want to learn something new, then there are no barriers, I don’t see any limitations to development opportunities going forward”
Anton Bernhardsson, Production Operator
My role as a Production Operator is highly varied, ranging from handling the robot cell, participating in various development projects to carry out tests on behalf of the R&D department and not least, we build machines! It is a job that involves both technical skills and a problem-solving mind set, ensuring that no two days are ever the same.
Previously, I worked as a CNC operator with milling and turning in metal, but I switch to Modvion for a healthier working environment and a more stimulating job. At Modvion I’m given the opportunity to be creative and I have the freedom to plan my own day. I really like the balance between teamwork and independent work.
When I started, I quickly became part of the team, it’s an open and welcoming environment, if you want to learn something new, then there are no barriers, I don’t see any limitations to development opportunities going forward. It is a very dynamic and forward-thinking workplace.
