Raise me up

A Modvion tower designed for the biggest onshore platforms of today.

The new tower is designed to support a V162 – 6.4MW turbine from the Vestas Enventus platform with 35 years lifetime. The tower design has been evaluated by the independent certification body TÜV SÜD and received a design evaluation conformity statement.

The design evaluation is based on a full review of technical data and testing methodology and confirms that the design meets the international quality standards IECRE OD-501 in combination with OD-501-3.

VKV Björkö

The fact that something has not been done before, does not mean it can't be done at all. The prototype tower on Björkö, erected in 2020, was a huge milestone - not only for us, but for the common acceptance of our vision.

Modvion's first commercial wooden wind turbine tower has been built just outside Skara, Sweden. It is the world's tallest wind turbine tower made of wood.
