RES in the nordics recently signed a letter of intent with Modvion and we have gained quite some interest within the company. What we thought would be a study visit of a few people turned into 35, a record number of visitors in one go! It was wonderful to meet the team and get to show our tower technology to people in the business.

We started with presentation of Modvion, led by our Head of Sales and Procurement ,Pär Hallgren and our co-founder, David Olivegren.

The team was then equipped with safety shoes and high-vis vests before heading down to the factory floor. They were introduced to the material we use, the production line and most were able to peak their heads into our small rehearsal tower.

The tour finished at our testing station where Erik Dölerud talked about our elaborate testing programme together with RISE. When it comes to engineered wood in dynamic constructions we have done a lot of testing – mostly involving placing intense pressure on pieces of wood or our joints. The team had lots of great questions, it was good to see we had an answer for almost every one.
