The Björkö project was groundbreaking and sparked the interest of Vestas. They have since scrutinised our concept, resulting in  a collaboration that laid the foundation for their investment in the company in the beginning of 2021.

Our investment in Modvion supports this ambition. Modvion’s modular approach to designing and building wooden turbine towers holds the potential to reduce carbon emissions from tower production by 80 percent. When matured, this technology is an important piece of the puzzle to achieve zero emission through our entire value chain, as well as being able to offer a more sustainable solution for our customers”
