Modvion has been selected to take part in the Swedish–German Accelerator Programme 2026, run within the Swedish-German Cleantech Platform (SGCP). The programme supports innovative Swedish scale-ups and small and medium-sized companies looking to establish themselves in the German market.
The accelerator brings together companies whose products and solutions contribute to a 100 percent fossil-free society, including renewable energy, energy and resource efficiency, smart cities and buildings, and waste management and recycling. Its aim is to help participating companies understand the German innovation ecosystem, connect with potential customers and partners, and build long-term collaboration between Sweden and Germany.
For Modvion, the programme represents an important step in accelerating international growth and strengthening our presence in one of Europe’s biggest wind market.
The German onshore market is booming and strategically a perfect fit for Modvion’s transportable, tall, wind turbine towers. We’re excited to expand our network in Germany and to take part in the Swedish–German Accelerator Programme as we scale our presence in this key market,” says Maria-Lina Hedlund, CEO at Modvion.
During the programme, Modvion will take part in activities designed to open doors to the German market, gain practical insights, and build relationships with companies, clusters and other key players in the cleantech sector. At the same time, the initiative aims to strengthen cooperation between the Swedish and German innovation ecosystems, creating new connections that support the long-term transition to green energy.
Being selected for the Swedish–German Accelerator Programme 2026 is another step forward for Modvion as we work to enable more wind power through innovative, sustainable, tall tower solutions.
